I felt that the doctor dismissed my concerns. I was told to stop holding my child so much and doing everything for her. This is not the case as she is in daycare all day. I was advised by our primary physician to get a closer look at my child's hips and do not feel this happened. Again, all I was told was to stop holding my child and stop comparing her to other babies. I will be going back to my physician for a different referral.

I appreciated the conservative approach that Dr. Gregory took with us: instead of going directly for a hard cast, he spent time understanding our personal lifestyle, preferences, and recommended a solution that was optimal for Francesca.

I think explaining to my child what an X-ray was in basic terms and what to expect would have been helpful. My child told me after the visit that the imaging room was scary. He did not know what the big machines were for or what to expect.
