Dr. Abtahi is very thoughtful about my case, especially since there is a "special" set of circumstances.

He was very patient in trying to help me.

They were not rushed, gave me the time I needed, the doctor even gave me a tissue when I became emotional. I had a great experience!

There is more to be discussed (rapid fire) when I see the Dr. Of course, never enough time allotted for all to be discussed.

After a few not so great experiences with the adult side of Vanderbilt years ago I was hesitant to try a Vanderbilt provider again. I chose the Vanderbilt Spine Center because my dad had gone last year and was very impressed. As a patient that has dealt with chronic back pain from scoliosis, and overweight, I always feel I have to defend my pain, explain that it's not all because I'm too heavy. So having a provider acknowledge my pain, give me new insight my previous orthopedist (not Vandy affliated) had never mentioned, be clear cut in what will help in the short and long term and did not rush me, means a lot.
