Phototherapy Clinic

Phototherapy is the use of an ultraviolet light source or laser on the skin for the treatment of many different skin conditions, such as psoriasis, acne, some skin cancers and other conditions. Your physician may treat your skin with a photosensitizing agent before applying the light source. Typically, multiple treatments are needed that can range from three times a week to a few times a year depending on the condition and type of treatment.  This treatment can be used for patients of most ages.

Photodynamic therapy is the use of activating chemicals in blue light; it is often used to treat pre-cancerous growths. This treatment can also be used for acne, brown spots and wrinkles.
