I was extremely impressed with Dr. Sobey fellow helping him today. He was patient, a good listener, and I felt he was thorough. I felt comfortable that he would relay my issues to Dr. Sobey accurately. He was polite and respectful. Dr. Sobey was very Impressive as well. He seemed very knowledgeable and was an excellent communicator. He didn't seemed rushed, so I felt both seen and heard todayI was included in the treatment plan. He acknowledged that he wasn't sure the root cause of my problem but I felt confident that his plan would result In finding the root of my problem. Exemplary care today. I was reluctant to pursue my referral because I did not want pain medications to be the answer, especially if they would be long term. I feel hopeful that I will eventually be able to drive again and have my independence back.

The doctor seemed to really care that I not take opioids and explained why.

Dr. Sobey was very thorough and allowed me to ask any questions and explained everything in detail. He was great.

Dr. Sobey is an excellent doctor. He always listens to everything I have to say, and takes all of it in to consideration. He cares very much about his patients needs and in my option he provides the best possible care he can. He never shoves a bag of pills at you, and I'm so thankful he doesn't. He always tries to manage your pain with exercise and other healthy ways. I'm thankful every day God brought him, and the rest of the team an Vanderbilt Pain Management into my life.
